The Missouri Green Schools and Environmental Education Association (MEEA) has been helping educators inspire Missourians to care about, understand, and act for their environment since 1997.
The MEEA annual conference will be in Springfield, Missouri this year and will take place at the Springfield Botanical Gardens. The strands for the conference include Climate Change, The Ozarks, Teaching in Rural Communities and Project and Place-Based Learning.
The keynote speakers are graduates of the Green Leadership Academy for Diverse Ecosystems (GLADE) and will speak about how outdoor and environmental education has inspired them to take leadership roles in the Ozarks.
