What ‘Lead’ Us Here? A Discussion on Water Quality and Treatment
The Blue Skies Discussion Group gets together to discuss topics centered on energy, the environment, climate science, and all related subjects. All are welcome.

FREE and OPEN to all K-12 educators (particularly middle and high school science teachers).
Featured Speaker: Dr. Avni Solanki, Lecturer, Energy, Environmental & Chemical Engineering, Washington University in St. Louis.
Avni Solanki will speak about water quality issues, with a focus on the Flint water crisis. Dr. Solanki works on water quality, and is described as having “co-taught various environmental engineering undergraduate courses such as Water Chemistry, Fate and Transport, and Environmental Processes. Solanki’s current focus is integrating hands-on activities within curriculum to enhance the learning experience.”
