Join us for the first Novel Engineering Conference as we bring together K-8 educators from around the country to explore the integration of engineering and literacy!

The two-day conference will dive deeply into:
  • getting started with Novel Engineering
  • engineering in the classroom
  • supporting productive engineering design
Hear from the creator of Novel Engineering from Tufts University and listen to a panel of local teachers discuss their experiences. Morning sessions will be divided into beginner and intermediate/advanced groups. Afternoon sessions will be hands-on workshops using grade-level appropriate literature for early-elementary, upper-elementary, and middle-school learners.

Presenters include Barbara Pener, Melanie Turnage, Elissa Milto, Lisa Meyers, and Laura Fradin.
