Featured Speaker: Fredrik Inglis, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Biology, Department of Biology, and Principal Investigator, Inglis Lab, University of Missouri – St. Louis Although single-celled and seemingly not very complex, microbes have incredibly busy social lives. But how and why do these complex interactions evolve in such simple organisms? The research in my lab seeks to better understand the evolution of these interactions and the consequences they have on infection and resistance to antibiotics.
