Workshop: STEM Best Practices When Bridging the Digital Divide

October 7, 2020
3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Interested in bringing a stronger STEM mindset and intention to school and classroom practices? STEMpact’s free STEM Leadership Series workshops are ideal for all school and district administrators, principals, coaches, teachers and leaders.

This session has an elementary focus. It will take a detailed look at the current best practices utilized in high quality STEM integration. This takes on a whole new meaning when virtual learning is your primary option. We will share tools for assessing your curriculum in both the in-person and virtual classroom, in an effort to move towards high quality STEM integration. Resources and strategies will also be shared to assist you in taking your in-person STEM skills virtual. Content will be geared toward elementary grade bands.

Due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the fall workshops will be virtual. You will receive a Zoom link after your registration has been confirmed. Each virtual workshop will run for 90 minutes from 3:30-5:00 pm.

The winter workshop location and schedule will be determined later in the fall of 2020.

Through the generous support of STEMpact, the Institute for School Partnership at Washington University, and the Missouri Science and Math Coalition, the STEM Leadership Series is provided at no cost to participants.
