A FREE workshop for K-12 teachers to prepare for this once in a lifetime event; last time in St. Louis was in 1442. You will be starting school next year prior to August 21, 2017.  Make sure your students are ready now!

Activities highlighted in this free workshop include:

  • Appropriate curriculum materials and resources for elementary, middle and high school teachers
  • Various models and activities that easily describe what an eclipse is
  • Ways to safely view the eclipse
  • Advance preparation ideas for your school
  • Free solar viewing glasses for up to 75 students

Instructors Paul Markovits, Rich Heuermann and Jim Small will deepen your understanding of this first total solar eclipse to occur over the St. Louis region since July 1442!

Continental Breakfast Provided. Space is limited. Registration deadline is April 18, 2017.
