Novel Engineering Professional Development

Date/Time
Jun 13

Location
Washington University, Danforth Campus, Lopata House Multipurpose Room

Event Description

Tufts University Center for Engineering Education and Outreach is collaborating with Washington University’s Institute for School Partnership to offer Novel Engineering professional development as a hybrid model that will offer K-8 educators the opportunity to participate in a one-day, face-to-face PD in the summer and in an online graduate-level course over the academic year.

The course will help K-8 teachers dive deeper into Novel Engineering as they reflect on pedagogy and engineering design in their own classroom while meeting literacy goals. Teachers will get a certificate of completion. This pilot program is made possible through a generous gift from the James S. McDonnell Family Foundation and will be offered for free to the first 15 teachers that apply.

Contact Elissa Milto at elissa.milto@tufts.edu with questions about the PD.
