Kimberly Weaver joins the ISP as engineering educator

The Institute for School Partnership is pleased to welcome Kimberly R. Weaver, PE, to a new engineering educator position. As she gets started, Kim will be working with ISP school partners to implement engineering projects embedded within new mySci units.

Kim holds degrees in both civil and environmental engineering and has worked as a professional engineer and project manager. She has six years of full-time classroom experience, teaching in the Peace Corps in Ghana for two years and teaching math and engineering in Philadelphia urban schools for the past four years.

When asked what she likes most about her new position, Kim said, “I’m really looking forward to supporting teachers in any way that I can. They are the hardest working people and they are doing the most important work in the world.”

Please join us in welcoming Kim to the staff of the Institute for School Partnership!
