We are excited to share our summer professional development offerings for mySci educators. Sessions are open to mySci teachers as well as administrators in mySci districts.

Intro to YOUR mySci: Grade-Banded Kit PD
Who: All levels of mySci teachers (first year and beyond)
What: A great introduction or refresher on the mySci components. Participants will delve into their grade-specific units, suggested pacing, and model (virtually) lessons. You will also have time to collaborate with similar grade-level teachers in the region!
Where: Virtual (Zoom)
When: June 23 (6/23 session FULL) OR July 28, 9:30am – 12:00pm (choose one)

mySci District Leaders Summer Institute
Who: Experienced mySci teachers and administrators (1+ years) and returning mySci District Leaders
What: Refine your already stellar skills to support students and other teachers to differentiate reading, writing, talking, and doing in the mySci classroom. Attendees will also have the opportunity to continue their leadership development during the school year by participating in a $500 mySci extension grant, graduate coursework, a video submission, or PD facilitation in their district. Leaders receive a certificate and $150 stipend for participation.
Where: Virtual (Zoom)
When: Live sessions on July 22, 9:30am – 12:00pm and July 23, 9:30am – 12:00pm + some independent work and quarterly Zoom meetings on the following Thursdays from 4pm-5pm: Oct 1, Dec 3, Feb 25 and April 8
