The K-12 Connections program seeks to provide engaging interaction between area K-12 students and Washington University through classroom trips to campus and special one time events at schools. WashU students, staff and faculty members are connected with volunteer opportunities in urban school districts in the St. Louis area. Schools and teachers have the resources of the university available for their students.
The Institute for School Partnership’s K-12 Connections program plays a critical role in welcoming and assisting local K-12 students as they discover and gain exposure to college life, as well as proving opportunities for community engagement and service for WashU students, staff and faculty.
