Senior Director of Advancement, St. Louis Initiatives & Institute for School Partnership

Beth Hertzig joined the University Initiatives team as Senior Director of Advancement, St. Louis Initiatives, on September 1, 2021 and was promoted o Senior Director of Advancement, St. Louis Initiatives & Institute for School Partnership in July, 2022.  She has worked in University Advancement for over twenty years.  Following positions in Arts & Sciences and the School of Engineering from 1990 thru 1998, Beth returned to University Advancement in April of 2010 as the Regional Director of Advancement for the greater St. Louis area where for 11 ½ years she developed strong donor relationships resulting in significant gifts in areas across all of the university’s schools and programs.  In her current role, Beth is responsible for continuing to work with constituents across schools and programs to advance the University’s St. Louis Initiative fundraising goals.  She is also serving as the first Director of Advancement for the Institute for School Partnership.

Beth is also a graduate of Washington University having earned her MBA in 1985 following her baccalaureate degree from Vanderbilt.  She is a St. Louis native having attended University City public schools, and is passionate about her partnership with the Institute for School Partnership to help achieve equity in K-12 education.
