Lauren Church is a native St. Louisan and deeply committed to enriching science education for all students. She is currently a Teaching Facilitator with the Institute for School Partnership and assists hundreds of teachers across the St. Louis area as they implement their mySci K-8 curriculum.
Lauren has been involved with the ISP since 2015 when she began her degree in the Master of Science in Biology for Science Teachers program. During this time, she became a Teacher Fellow of the Photosynthetic Antenna Research Center (PARC) and partnered with the Outreach Program to write curriculum for free usage by teachers.
She has also presented the ISP’s Hot Topics Series workshops to local science teachers. Before joining the ISP team, Lauren taught in the Ferguson-Florissant School District.
