New year, new opportunities

Five ways to connect with the ISP in 2015

  1. Novel engineering workshop or cohort

Looking for an easy way to introduce your young learners to engineering? Learn how to make engineering come to life through storybooks by selecting from one of our novel engineering opportunities. You can either attend our one-time workshop or join our in-depth teacher cohort, to learn how to use literature to teach everyday engineering applications.

  1. Science Fair workshop

Join us students and parents, and learn the basics of the St. Louis Science Fair. Each participating student will receive a free logbook and display board. All students MUST be accompanied by an adult.

  1. Updated MySci Units (and a bonus)

The teachers have tested it. The comments have been submitted, and the units are now better than ever. Visit the ISP’s Instructional Materials page to view the newest updates to the mySci units. Also, keep an eye out for Unit 25, a brand new collection of lessons, featuring simple machines.

  1. Join the Pinterest party

The ISP has gone social. We are on the hunt for high-quality resources, teacher tips and tricks, and free printables. Follow us on Pinterest to see what we’re finding for you today.

  1. Get K-12 Connected

Looking for an out-of-classroom experience or for help with your school event? Our K-12 Connections program wants to get you connected with opportunities and volunteers here at Washington University. Check out the Edison Theatre page to see what shows are coming your way this semester, plan your visit to the Kemper Art Museum and don’t forget to visit the Community Service page to fill out your request today.
