Despite cool spring temperatures, April proved to be a “hot” month for the nearly 40 middle and high school science teachers who attended two Hot Topics Workshops, one on Wind Energy and one on Biomass Energy. Sponsored by HHMI and WUSTL’s Photosynthetic Antenna Research Center, these workshops on sustainable energy sources provide teachers with hands-on, inquiry based activities they can take back into their classrooms to teach core concepts. Free equipment loan privileges are available to all of our workshop participants.
Check out the pictures from both of these workshops and plan on attending the next one! New workshop topics are in development and will be coming soon.
