In an effort to support the teaching of evolution in K-12 schools, the Institute for School Partnership hosts a monthly book club for St. Louis area teachers. The group is open to any educator in the St. Louis area interested in gaining more knowledge about the field of evolution.

Take an exciting literary adventure through the world of evolution! Network with fellow teachers! Gain new content knowledge for your classroom! We’re reading Lee Berger and John Hawks’ “Almost Human: The Astonishing Tale of Homo nailed and the Discovery That Changed Our Human Story.”

THREE WEDNESDAYS THIS SUMMER: (you do not need to attend all three meetings)

  • June 12 – Prologue – Part 1 (pages 11-66)
  • July 10 – Chapters 9-21 (pages 67-148)
  • August 14 – Chapters 10-end (pages 149-226)
